Résidence à la Maison Edvard Munch du Minnesota

American Composers Forum, in partnership with Springboard for the Arts, the Highpoint Center for Printmaking, the Center for German and European Studies at the University of Minnesota, and the Edvard Munch House, invites Minnesota‑based composers, visual artists, writers and interdisciplinary artists to apply for a 4‑ to 6‑week residency at the historic Edvard Munch House in Warnemünde, Germany. The residency runs between October and April 2027 and provides accommodation in the house, a dedicated workspace, a stipend of €3,000 for a four‑week stay or €4,000 for a six‑week stay, round‑trip travel costs from Minnesota to Germany, access to a printing press for printmakers, opportunities to collaborate with local musicians or a music academy, and a public presentation, reading, performance or exhibition at the end of the stay. Applications open on 9 October 2026 and close on 30 November 2026. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and reside in the state of Minnesota, and must hold a valid passport for travel in October 2027.
