Le Prix Willet des arts 2026

The Willet Art Prize is a national art competition organized by Willet Stained Glass Studios that invites artists residing in the United States to create an original work reflecting the 2026 theme “Quest for Gold”. The competition celebrates creativity, craftsmanship, and the visual storytelling of sport, encouraging entries in any medium – painting, sculpture, digital art, glass, or mixed media. Submissions open on April 30, 2026 and must be uploaded online by the final deadline of August 31, 2026. Each artist may submit one original piece, accompanied by a title, medium, dimensions, and a brief statement explaining the connection to the theme. The competition offers national exposure, a chance to be featured in exhibitions, and the possibility of having winning designs produced as stained‑glass pieces with commission opportunities for up to three years. A panel of artists, curators, designers, and athletes will evaluate entries based on originality, thematic interpretation, suitability for stained glass, composition, and emotional impact. No entry fee is required. Winners will be announced in October 2026 after a public voting and judging phase.
