Résidence d'artiste solo de l'Institut Kolaj
Kolaj Institute
À Propos de Cette Opportunité

Kolaj Institute’s Solo Residencies in New Orleans are designed to give artists, curators and writers dedicated time and space to develop projects related to collage, publishing, research, exhibition or creative practice. Residencies may last one or two weeks, with dates mutually agreed with the Institute. Residents receive a private bedroom, shared kitchen and bathroom facilities, and a studio equipped with collage‑making supplies, a printer, scissors, cutting knives, mats and glue. The Institute’s archive and collections are available for research, and staff provide a pre‑residency meeting to identify community partners and resources. Participants are expected to work independently, produce a focused body of work, and may take part in public programming or lead workshops. The program is open to artists, curators and writers worldwide at any career stage. Applicants must submit an individual application with a project proposal, artist bio and work samples. The residency fee is $900 USD for one week or $1,400 USD for two weeks; an additional $400 USD per week applies for a traveling companion. A limited number of $250 USD grants are available to offset the fee for applicants with demonstrated financial need. Travel, meals and materials beyond basic studio supplies are the responsibility of the resident. Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
