À Propos de Cette Opportunité

Jackson Lake State Park, a state‑commissioned site in Colorado, invites talented student artists to submit proposals for a series of public murals that will be installed on park utility buildings. The project aims to celebrate the park’s commitment to the Leave No Trace principles and to highlight local culture and agricultural heritage. Artists may submit one or more concepts; selected designs will be realized as permanent installations. Each completed mural carries a $1,000 honorarium, and all professional‑grade paints, primers, brushes, and UV/anti‑graffiti sealants are provided. Artists may keep any brushes and select materials after the project. A permanent plaque will acknowledge the artist, the principal, and the artist’s school, adding a valuable credential to the creator’s résumé. Applications consist of a PDF containing a color sketch, a brief artist statement, and 2–3 portfolio images, and must be emailed to Erika Wiedemann at the address provided. The deadline for submissions is 30 August 2026. This call is open to student artists (currently enrolled in secondary or post‑secondary education) and is not limited by age, nationality, or artistic medium beyond mural work. No application fee is required.
