GENERATOR – Résidence 40mcube

The GENERATOR programme, initiated by 40mcube and carried out jointly with the European School of Art of Brittany and Self Signal, is a certified professional training and residency for young visual artists. Each year four artists, who have graduated at least two years ago, are selected for a seven‑month stay in Rennes, France. Participants receive a €5,000 internship gratification (before taxes) and up to €2,500 in production costs, as well as access to specialised studios (resin, metalwork, wood, ceramics, printmaking, photography, video and sound editing), a dedicated workspace with internet, mentorship, exhibition opportunities, workshops and lectures. Applications are submitted via a single PDF containing a portfolio, CV, cover letter and a research proposal, and must be sent by email. The call operates on a rolling basis with no fixed deadline, and the programme is repeated annually.
