The Youth Music Trailblazer Fund, supported by Arts Council England, provides grants ranging from £2,000 to £30,000 to organisations operating in England. The aim is to enable projects that trial new approaches, sustain grassroots programmes, or disrupt the status quo in music education for children and young people (up to 25 years old). Applicants must address at least one of the following themes: Early years; Disabled, d/Deaf and neurodivergent young people; Youth justice system; Young people facing barriers; Young adults; Organisations and the workforce. The current Round 13 opened on 31 July 2026 and the application deadline is 28 August 2026 (5 pm). Successful projects are expected to start between January and March 2027. No application fee is required. Funding is paid directly to the successful organisation and can be used for project costs, staff, equipment, and related expenses. The fund is open to any England‑based charity, community group, or social enterprise that delivers music‑making activities for the specified youth audiences. Applications are submitted via Youth Music’s online system, with guidance documents available in PDF and Word formats.
