Fonds pour les jeunes cinéastes de Floride
Film Florida
À Propos de Cette Opportunité
The Film Florida Emerging Filmmakers Fund provides cash in the amount of $1,000–$2,000 per project to emerging filmmakers in Florida. In addition to funding, selected projects receive mentorship from an industry professional throughout the project. Eligible projects may include short or long formats across all genres, including documentary, dramatic, educational, narrative, animated and experimental, provided they demonstrate advanced and innovative skills and relate to Film Florida’s goals of creating jobs and promoting economic development and tourism in the state. The program funds projects that are filmed entirely on location in Florida, with all major post‑production done in Florida, and requires that the majority of the crew be Florida workers. Projects in development, pre‑production, production or early post‑production are eligible, but student films for academic credit are not. Applicants must be Florida residents. Submissions are evaluated on a rolling calendar with no fixed deadline; projects are reviewed as they are submitted, and notification may take up to 120 days. The fund disburses cash in two payments based on mentor approval. Film Florida members receive priority and a free application fee; non‑members pay a $50 fee.
