RÉSIDENCES D'ARTISTES « FLAME » ET « ESTUDIO INVERSO »

Flame x Estudio Inverso presents a contemporary art residency that bridges international practice with Madrid’s dynamic cultural scene. The program runs for one to three months, with residency starts on 1 December 2026 and an application deadline of 31 October 2026. Residents live in a shared two‑bedroom apartment in the historic Malasaña district and work in a 24/7 open‑studio warehouse in Carabanchel, which houses 13 independent creative workspaces. The residency provides studio space (16–20 m²), shared accommodation, kitchenette and toilet facilities, and guidance from Estudio Inverso and Flame staff. Artists are encouraged to exhibit their work at the end of the residency and may also conduct talks or workshops. The program is open to international visual artists across disciplines—including sculpture, ceramics, textile art, new media, photography, and curatorial education programmes—and requires applicants to bring their own materials. The residency fee is €2 000 per month, covering accommodation and studio space, payable by the artist.
