The Gallery of Contemporary Mosaics in Chicago announces "Made in Chicago," a juried exhibition showcasing emerging and under‑represented artists across all media, including drawing, painting, sculpture, fiber, mixed media, mosaic, photography, and digital work (excluding purely digital or AI‑generated pieces). The exhibition will run from September 11 to November 7, 2026. Applications are due by August 19, 2026, and will be evaluated by a blind jury from The Chicago Mosaic School and the Gallery. Submissions require an original design, must be ready to hang, and adhere to size and weight limits (2D works no larger than 36" and 25 lb; 3D works must fit a 12" square pedestal). A $15 submission fee applies, with an additional $5 for each extra piece. Accepted works will be displayed in the gallery and may be sold, with the gallery taking a 40 % commission. No decorative art (e.g., tables, mirrors, wearable items) will be considered.
