Exposition annuelle de Visual Arts Scotland au bâtiment de la Royal Scottish Academy, à Édimbourg - 2027

Visual Arts Scotland (VAS) is offering its annual exhibition at the Royal Scottish Academy (RSA) Building in Edinburgh for the 2027 season. The call is open to both VAS members and non‑members worldwide, inviting submissions across a broad spectrum of visual arts and contemporary crafts, including painting, printmaking, photography, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, film, audio, textiles, woodwork, metalwork, furniture, glass, installation, performance and jewellery. Artists may submit up to five works, with no size restrictions, provided the work was created from 2024 onward and has not been shown at the RSA or with VAS in the previous five years. Membership status affects fees: members enjoy free entry for their first three works, while non‑members pay £15 per artwork plus a one‑off £15 administration and installation fee for all artists. Selected works will be displayed in the RSA’s Upper Galleries in January 2027 and are expected to be for sale, with a commission of 40% for non‑members and 35% for professional members. VAS supplies mirror plates for hanging, but artists are responsible for delivery, insurance and any customs duties for international shipments. The deadline for submissions is 28 August 2026 at 5 pm, after which selections will be notified via the OESS portal. This recurring annual call provides significant exposure and the chance to exhibit alongside Scotland’s leading contemporary artists.
