Prix de la photographie environnementale 2027

The Environmental Photography Award 2027 is the seventh edition of an annual competition launched in 2021 by the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation. The award seeks to celebrate the beauty of the planet and highlight the complex relationship between humans and nature through five thematic categories: Polar Regions, Forests, Ocean, Humanity vs Nature, and Changemakers. Photographers from any country may submit up to five images per category, for a maximum of 25 images, provided the photos were taken within the last five years and meet strict technical and ethical guidelines. The competition is free to enter and is judged by an international jury of professional photographers. The grand prize winner receives a €5,000 grant and an invitation, including travel and accommodation, to the opening ceremony of the exhibition in Monaco. Category winners receive €1,000 grants, while public and student awards offer €500 each. All shortlisted photographers will be featured in the exhibition, which travels internationally, and in a bilingual book. The competition closes on 1 November 2026 at 23:59 CET/22:59 UTC.
