Appel à candidatures FOTODOKS 2027 : Photographie documentaire sur les soins

FOTODOKS, the biennial festival for contemporary documentary photography in Munich, Germany, is seeking lens‑based documentary projects that explore the theme of care – emotional, physical, psychological, social or relational – for its thirteenth edition in October 2027. The open call is open to individual photographers, duos and collectives. Selected artists receive an artist fee (€500 for solo artists, €800 for duos, up to €1,200 for collectives), a travel budget (€150 within Germany, €300 within the EU, €500 from outside the EU), accommodation during the four‑day opening week, production support for the group exhibition, inclusion in the festival catalogue and promotional materials, and a dedicated presentation on the FOTODOKS website. Applications are free. The jury consists of Frank Bauer, Dominik Gigler, Francesco Giordano, Nadine Loës, Sandra Singh and Ilaria Sponda. The deadline for submissions is 20 November 2026 (UTC).
