The Edmonton Arts Council (EAC) offers the Individuals & Collectives grant to support artists and collectives based in the Edmonton/amiskwaciy‑waskahikan region. Applicants must have an existing, committed practice in any artistic discipline, be 18 years or older, and be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or hold a valid open work permit. Residency in Edmonton or the surrounding Indigenous communities is required. The grant provides a fixed amount of CAD 5,000 to cover subsistence and additional project costs. Two application rounds are offered each year, with deadlines on 2 March 2026 and 1 September 2026. Applications open one month before each deadline. Only one grant may be received per applicant per calendar year, and overdue final reports disqualify eligibility. The program is open to individuals and collectives (the latter must have a primary applicant). No application fee is required.

Restrictions
Individuals must: have an existing and committed practice in any arts discipline, be 18 years of age or older, be a resident of Edmonton / amiskwaciy-waskâhikan, have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN), and have a majority of members who are eligible individuals as described above.
