Concours de photographie et d'art | Nos villes vivantes : à la découverte de la biodiversité urbaine

The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) invites students, youth, and adults to participate in the Photography & Art Competition titled "Our Living Cities: Discovering Urban Biodiversity." The competition, themed "Biodiversity in the Urban Landscape," encourages participants to capture and interpret the richness of urban ecosystems through photography and artwork. Two categories are offered:

1. School Category – Artwork: Open to primary and secondary school students, allowing one submission per participant (group work up to five people). Entries must be original drawings, paintings, or natural material artworks depicting urban wildlife.

2. Open Category – Photography: Open to all, permitting up to two submissions per participant. Photographs must be taken within the Greater Bay Area and must not involve AI manipulation.

All entries must be submitted before 15 October 2026, 11:59 PM (Macau Time). Winners receive monetary prizes (MOP 1,000 for 1st place, MOP 800 for 2nd, MOP 500 for 3rd) and certificates, with five honourable mentions awarded Eco‑Gifts. Selected works will be exhibited at The Venetian Macao. Submission is via online Google Forms; physical artworks may be mailed alongside the form.

The competition is organized by the Department of Science and Environment in collaboration with the Department of Media, Art and Technology, and sponsored by the 2026 Drop by Drop Project "Sponge City Macao."
