Programme artistique communautaire (Ville de Kelowna)
City of Kelowna – Active Living & Culture Division
À Propos de Cette Opportunité
The City of Kelowna’s Active Living & Culture Division administers the Community Art Program, a grant supporting projects that enable practicing artists to create temporary, publicly accessible artworks for the national Culture Days celebration. Grants cover up to 100 % of eligible project costs, with a maximum of $3,000, and may include artist fees, materials, services, insurance, and documentation. Projects are installed in outdoor public spaces for up to three weeks during Culture Days 2027. Applicants – professional or emerging artists, artist collectives, non‑profit or charitable organisations, and educational institutions – must be based in Canada and the project activities must occur within the City of Kelowna. Applications open 1 June 2026 and close 7 September 2026. The process is online, with a prescreening questionnaire followed by a full project application. Successful applicants sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the City and must provide a final report within 60 days of project completion.
