Le CIFRA lance un appel à candidatures international destiné aux artistes : POWER ON/OFF

CIFRA, a curatorial media‑art platform, has launched an international Open Call titled POWER ON/OFF, seeking moving‑image and screen‑native works that investigate contemporary forms of power. Artists are encouraged to examine power’s presence in algorithms, platforms, institutions, social norms, and hidden systems, and to respond through refusal, humour, distortion, sabotage, repair or solidarity. Six awards of €1,000 each will be given: five artists selected by an international jury and one Audience Award determined by public voting on the CIFRA platform. All winning works will be presented on CIFRA and promoted across its editorial and social channels. Submissions are made by creating a public profile on CIFRA, uploading the work directly to the platform, and providing a description and cover image. Only works hosted on CIFRA are eligible; external links such as Google Drive or Vimeo will not be considered. The deadline for submissions is 1 November 2026, 23:59 GST. Audience voting runs from 13 November to 3 December 2026, with winners announced on 5 December 2026. No application fee is required.
