Chine | A4 Résidence 2027

The A4 Residency Art Center, located in Chengdu, China, invites multidisciplinary creators—including visual artists, performers, musicians, filmmakers, architects, designers, curators and other interdisciplinary practitioners—to apply for its International Residency Program 2027‑2028. The residency provides a minimum eight‑week stay with a private workspace and living quarters, round‑trip airfare or train travel within a set budget, and a RMB 10,000 production grant for materials and project costs. Residents become part of a cross‑disciplinary exchange platform, gaining access to a resource library, local community networks, commercial brand collaborations, cultural immersion tours, and media promotion. The program culminates in public presentations such as exhibitions, performances, publications or public art projects. Two application rounds are offered: Autumn 2027 (deadline 30 June 2026) and Spring 2028 (deadline 31 December 2026). Applications are submitted via email with a CV, portfolio and project proposal in English and Chinese.
