The International Triennial of Textile Arts 2027, organized by the Cultural Foundation for the Textile Arts, invites artists to submit works under the theme “Interwoven Generation”. The triennial, one of the most prestigious textile art showcases in Central Europe, will be held in Szombathely, Hungary. Three categories are open: Wall and Spatial Textiles, Textile Design, and Miniature Textiles. Works must be made of fibrous material using weaving, spinning or related techniques and may not exceed 2.5 × 2.5 × 2.5 m. The Wall and Spatial Textile and Textile Design categories are open to artists residing in the European Union, while the Miniature category remains international. Only works created between 2024 and 2027 that relate to the theme are accepted. No material or technique restrictions beyond the fibrous requirement. The call is free to apply. Selected works will be exhibited at the Szombathely Gallery as part of the 2027 Triennial.

Exhibition at Savaria Museum and Gallery of Szombathely, catalogue inclusion, promotional exposure, sponsor‑provided prizes.
Restrictions
Professional textile artists, fine and applied artists, members of artistic organisations, and art‑school students may apply. For Wall and Spatial Textile and Textile Design categories, applicants must reside and work in EU Member States; Miniature Textile is open to international artists.
