Eastern Edge’s Studio hosts several artist residencies each year. Located in a creative hub set right on the harbour, our open-concept studio functions as an art studio, office space, event venue, and public arts library. Our island location provides a chance for artists to engage with our beautiful landscape, the unique culture of Newfoundland & Labrador, and our vibrant St. John’s art community.

24 hr access to the open plan studio space, All resident artists are provided their own designated area, An open working space where artists can engage with other visiting and local artists, Eastern Edge pays artist fees in accordance with the current CARFAC Fee Schedule under Category 1.

We are dedicated to cultural diversity in our programming, and encourage applications from artists, art collectives, and curators of diverse communities and backgrounds.
