The Tsung‑yeh Art and Cultural Center, managed by the Cultural Affairs Bureau of Tainan City Government, invites professional visual, multimedia, installation and sculpture artists to apply for the AIR (Artists‑in‑Residence) program for 2027. The residency runs from 4 January 2027 to 30 August 2027 and focuses on the theme “Site‑Specific Art”, encouraging artists to engage with Tainan’s hydrology, ecology, archaeology and local culture. Applicants must have at least one solo exhibition and one parent‑child workshop, be able to conduct independent field research, and submit a résumé, project plan and recommendation letters. The program provides a private suite (no charge), shared studio, exhibition space, bicycle, multimedia equipment, and a material budget of up to NT$150,000. Living expenses are funded up to NT$30,000 per month for a maximum of three months (total NT$90,000), disbursed in installments. Artists cover their own travel, taxes and insurance. Applications are submitted online via the AIR portal; the deadline is 31 August 2026.
