Casa Lü

Casa Lù, founded in 2017, hosts a fee‑based residency program in Mexico City that welcomes visual artists and other disciplines. The program runs in month‑long cohorts throughout 2026 with rolling admissions, meaning applications are accepted year‑round and cohorts fill as spots become available. Applicants submit a brief application form with no fee. The residency includes a private room with an ensuite bathroom, studio space, logistical and technical support, weekly meetings with staff and fellow residents, organized excursions to galleries, museums, and studio visits, feedback sessions with members of the local art community, and a group exhibition with an opening reception. The standard residency lasts 33 days (accommodation with shared studio 3,400 USD, private studio 3,900 USD, or private studio without housing 2,250 USD) and an extended option lasts 40 days. Partial scholarships are available: a Casa Lù Scholarship of up to 1,000 USD for all applicants, and additional support of up to 500 USD for Latin American artists and up to 1,000 USD for Mexican artists. Housing is provided, and travel support is not mentioned. The program is open to artists worldwide with no stated age or nationality restrictions.
