À Propos de Cette Opportunité

Ruby Mountain Project (RMP) is a land‑based creative hub near Joshua Tree National Park in Landers, California. The residency program supports artists, musicians, writers, researchers and other creatives, with a particular encouragement for BIPOC, LGBTQIA2S+ and early‑to‑mid‑career applicants. Cohorts typically run from September through May, with most stays lasting three weeks, though 1‑week, 2‑week and 7‑week options are also available. Up to three artists may reside together, sharing private shipping‑container studios or outdoor workspaces, and accessing a range of tools, equipment, communal kitchens, Wi‑Fi, and some meals. Housing is provided in vintage travel trailers or tents, with optional private cabins. Applications are submitted via a Google form; there is no application fee. The program operates on an equitable sliding‑scale fee model, with limited low‑fee spots and work‑trade options, but no scholarships at present. Residents receive a contract, liability waiver, and guest handbook, and are encouraged to participate in open studios, artist talks, and community events. Travel support is not offered.
