CICA Museum, located in Gimpo, South Korea, is calling for artists from around the world to participate in its 12th International Exhibition on Abstract Art, titled "Abstract Mind 2027." The exhibition will run from May 19 to June 13, 2027, and will showcase works that explore abstraction, Abstractivism, and the expression of the mind and abstract concepts. Eligible media include photography, 2D digital art, video art, interactive art, painting, sculpture, and installation.
Artists may submit up to three direct links to video works and/or up to five JPG images (recommended 100–500 KB) along with a brief bio. Submissions should be emailed to [email protected] with the subject line "Submission: Abstract Mind 2027 – Category – Artist’s Name." Selected works will be printed in standard sizes (10 × 15 in or 10 × 10 in) and framed by the museum; larger prints may be requested for an additional fee. Video and interactive pieces will be displayed using projectors and DVD/DIVX players provided by the museum.
Artists are responsible for shipping and handling of their works. The museum will provide exhibition space, installation, and technical support. A participation fee of $78 USD (or 110,000 KRW) per selected work is required to confirm participation.
