Bourses de recherche BRAID 2026
BRAID (University of Edinburgh)
À Propos de Cette Opportunité
The BRAID Research Fellowships aim to fund collaborative projects that pair Arts and Humanities researchers with non‑academic stakeholders (industry, third sector, government) to advance responsible AI. Two application routes are available: an academic‑led route where applicants bring their own partner, and a challenge‑led route addressing specific themes set by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. Up to £620,000 is available across approximately five fellowships, each offering up to £120,000 in salary, travel, research expenses and mentorship. Fellows must be employed by a UK research organisation eligible for AHRC funding, hold a doctorate (or equivalent experience), and work primarily in an Arts & Humanities discipline. The fellowship runs for 12 months with an optional additional three‑month impact period, starting by 1 Apr 2027 and ending by 30 Jun 2028. Applications are submitted via online forms; a free expression of interest is due by 23 Oct 2026 and the full application by 5 Nov 2026 (17:00 GMT). The programme provides travel and subsistence support, mentorship, and access to cohort events, but does not provide accommodation. Equality, diversity and accessibility provisions are included, with a separate accessibility fund available.
