Appel à candidatures pour les artistes 2027 – Salon de l'illustration de Kuala Lumpur

KL Illustration Fair (KLIF) invites illustrators, printmakers and visual storytellers to apply for exhibition booths at the 2027 fair, scheduled for 30 April – 2 May 2027 at GMBB KL and Lalaport Bukit Bintang in Kuala Lumpur. Applicants may submit as a single artist or as a collaborative duo (Art Room). The call runs from 1 October to 30 November 2026, after which shortlisted artists are notified and confirmed in February 2027. Booth types include Basic, Gallery, and Art Room, each with rental fees and a refundable security deposit. International artists are required to pay an additional MYR 600 support fee covering on‑site assistance and POS payment processing. Selected participants receive exhibition space, exposure to a dedicated audience, inclusion in KLIF marketing materials, the event’s art book, and assistance with sales processing. Travel and accommodation costs are the responsibility of the artists. The fair seeks fresh, original work, with at least 50 % new pieces for returning exhibitors, and encourages optional activities such as live painting or workshops.

Open to illustrators, printmakers and visual storytellers. Applications as single artist or a duo (max 2 artists). No shared booths. International artists must pay a MYR 600 support fee. No age or nationality restrictions beyond the support fee requirement.
