University of California, San Francisco (UCSF)
À Propos de Cette Opportunité
The Global Brain Health Institute (GBHI), based at Trinity College Dublin and the University of California, San Francisco, invites applications for the 2027–2028 Atlantic Fellows for Equity in Brain Health program. This year‑long fellowship is designed for emerging leaders who want to advance brain‑health equity through research, policy, practice, and creative practice. Fellows join a global community of over 300 Atlantic Fellows from more than 65 countries, gaining access to world‑class mentors, interdisciplinary curricula, and a network that spans clinical, scientific, artistic, and policy sectors.
Two fellowship sites are offered: a full‑time, in‑person experience at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland, and a hybrid, part‑time model at UCSF, USA, combining online learning with periodic in‑person workshops. Applicants may apply to only one site per cycle. The program includes a certificate, intensive mentorship, and eligibility for competitively awarded pilot awards of up to $25,000 to support projects in fellows’ home communities.
Eligibility is open to professionals from any country and any discipline, explicitly welcoming artists, musicians, writers, and other creatives who work on brain‑health or dementia‑related themes. Applications are free and close on 18 September 2026 for the Dublin site and 2 November 2026 for the UCSF site. Selected fellows receive a stipend, mentorship, and the opportunity to develop projects that improve brain health equity worldwide.
