À Propos de Cette Opportunité
The Asian Artists' Fund 2026, administered by Satellites in partnership with Foundation North, Creative New Zealand and Auckland Council, is a comprehensive funding program designed to address the underrepresentation of Asian artists in Aotearoa. The fund offers a range of streams, including a Creative Fellowship (up to $60,000 stipend for mid‑career artists), Professional Development grants (up to $5,000), Visual Arts, Dance, Music, Performance, and Writers residencies (each providing $10,000 and studio space for 4–12 weeks), and Creative Projects grants (up to $35,000). Applications open 18 August 2026 and close 17 September 2026. Eligible applicants are artists, practitioners or collectives based in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland) or Te Tai Tokerau (Northland) who identify as Asian and are New Zealand citizens or permanent residents. Only one application per person or group is allowed. The fund does not cover international travel, core education, or commercial design, and it does not provide housing or travel support. Applicants submit their proposals via the Foundation North Funding Hub, with options for written, audio or video responses. The fund aims to provide financial support, studio space, mentorship and production resources to enable artists to develop new work and advance their careers.
