À Propos de Cette Opportunité

The Valles Caldera National Preserve Artist in Residence (AiR) program, administered by the National Park Service, offers selected artists a two‑to‑four‑week stay in historic on‑site lodging. Artists are responsible for their own transportation to and from the park, but the NPS provides a vehicle for use during the residency. No stipend is offered; instead, artists receive lodging, a vehicle for on‑site use, and the opportunity to develop a public program (talk, workshop, or performance) for park visitors. At the end of the residency, each artist donates an original piece inspired by their experience, which the park retains the rights to share publicly. The program is open to artists of all creative disciplines, with no specific eligibility restrictions. Applications are submitted via Volunteer.gov between March 1 and March 15, 2027, followed by emailing required documents (resume, statement of purpose, public program concept, and work samples) to the program contact. Five artists are selected each cycle, with residency dates available from June through October. The next application period opens March 1, 2027.
