The Region 2 Arts Council (R2Arts) offers the Artist Support Grant to individual artists and culture bearers living in Beltrami, Clearwater, Hubbard, Lake of the Woods, or Mahnomen counties, Minnesota. The grant can cover expenses such as materials, equipment, exhibition or performance costs, educational opportunities, and other activities that enhance an artist’s development. Applications are reviewed within a week, and funds are awarded on a first‑come, first‑served basis when the quarterly round opens. The grant amount is up to $2,000 per artist. No application fee is required. The deadline for the upcoming round is 15 January 2027, with online review on 9 February 2027 and the earliest start date of 5 March 2027. This is a recurring quarterly grant program.

Eligible artists must be 18 years or older, in any stage of their artistic career, and reside in Beltrami, Hubbard, Lake of the Woods, Clearwater, or Mahnomen County.
