À Propos de Cette Opportunité

DECK’s Artist-in-Residence (A.i.R) is a year‑round residency programme that supports innovative and experimental photography practices in Singapore and across Asia. The residency offers artists a supportive environment to refine their craft through field trips, consultations with industry professionals, and a culminating exhibition featuring works developed during the residency. Each cycle hosts 2–3 artists, fostering collaboration and creative networks locally and beyond. The open call opens twice a year, with a residency duration of 3 to 8 weeks. Eligibility requires artists to be 21 years or older, have a minimum of three years of active practice, and work primarily in photography or image‑based arts. The programme provides accommodation for overseas professionals, access to gallery or multipurpose space for exhibitions and public programmes, travel funding up to SGD 1,000, exhibition production support up to SGD 2,000, and a stipend of up to SGD 50 per day. Participants also receive public announcement on DECK’s social media, documentation support, and an official invitation letter to aid grant applications. In return, artists are expected to facilitate a workshop or lecture, donate one artwork to support fundraising, and contribute a small keepsake to the residency archive.
