Art Omi : Résidence de danse 2027 – Appel à candidatures

Art Omi: Dance is an international residency program that brings together ten accomplished dancers and choreographers from around the world for a two‑and‑a‑half‑week period of creative exchange each summer. Residents work in studio spaces, receive mentorship from established artists, and have access to production resources to develop new work. Accommodation is provided on the Art Omi campus in the Hudson Valley, New York, while travel costs are the responsibility of the artist. The 2027 residency dates are scheduled for July 22 – August 9, 2027. Applications are accepted from professional dancers and choreographers worldwide. Applicants must submit a portfolio, a project proposal, and pay a $15 application fee. The open call runs from August 14 2026 until the deadline on Thursday, October 1 2026. Selections are made by a jury and announced later in the year. This residency aims to foster intercultural dialogue, experimentation, and the development of new dance works.
