Résidence d'artistes ARC + ATHENA
ARC Gallery & Educational Foundation
À Propos de Cette Opportunité
The ARC + ATHENA Artist Residency, administered by ARC Gallery & Educational Foundation and supported by the Athena Fund, invites individual artists working in any medium to apply for a ten‑month remote residency (February–November 2027). Three artists will be selected through an open call and will work as a cohort, receiving weekly online meetings, monthly mentorship sessions, professional development workshops, and access to ARC’s programming, press, and social media teams. Each resident receives a $1,200 stipend and a $300 shipping allowance (total $1,500) and will present a solo exhibition at ARC Gallery in Chicago in November 2027, with installation assistance and promotion. The residency is remote; travel to Chicago for installation and the exhibition opening is expected, but travel costs are not covered. Applicants must submit up to 10 images (or video/audio) via Dropbox, complete an online form, and pay an application fee (amount not specified). The application period runs from October 25 to December 15, 2026, with a deadline of December 15, 2026 at 11:59 pm CST. The program is open to artists of any age, nationality, education level, and career stage, provided they can commit to the remote schedule and travel for the exhibition. Selections are based on artistic merit, originality, proposed investigation, and collaborative potential.
