Nightlab
À Propos de Cette Opportunité
The Portland Winter Light Festival (PDXWLF), produced by the nonprofit Nightlab (formerly Willamette Light Brigade), is a city‑wide celebration of light‑based art that transforms Portland’s streets, bridges, and public spaces each February. The 2027 call for participation is now open to visual and performing artists, architects, designers, students, venues, businesses, and community partners located in Portland. Proposals may include installations, performances, projections, fire sculptures, and immersive experiences that use light to re‑imagine familiar places. The festival runs from February 5 to 13, 2027, and offers artists the opportunity to showcase their work in over 100 locations, including anchor sites such as the World Trade Center, Pioneer Courthouse Square, and the Electric Blocks. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis through August 28, 2026, with acceptance letters sent between October 19 and 30, 2026. The festival is free to attend and open to all, and no prior festival experience is required. The call encourages collaboration with the festival team and offers public space exposure for participating artists and community partners.
