Appel à candidatures pour le prix artistique 2025

The G. & A. Mamidakis Foundation Art Prize 2027 invites visual artists from around the world to submit proposals for a large‑scale sculptural or installation work designed for permanent outdoor display in Agios Nikolaos, Crete. The prize, established in 2019, aims to strengthen contemporary artistic leadership by commissioning site‑specific artworks that become part of the Foundation’s collection. Selected artists will receive a €15,000 award and the Foundation will cover all production and installation costs. The creation period runs from February to May 2027, with the work unveiled to the public in June 2027 and remaining on permanent display thereafter. Applications are submitted through the Foundation’s online form by 30 December 2026 (Greek time).
