Appel à candidatures ouvert aux artistes chypriotes et de la diaspora chypriote

SYNO’s 2026 Annual Open Call welcomes artists of Cypriot nationality or diaspora, as well as artists whose practice maintains a meaningful connection to Cyprus, to submit a single PDF portfolio in English. The call is open to all contemporary media, including painting, sculpture, installation, video, performance, sound, digital and interdisciplinary work. Applications are accepted from 14 May to 31 August 2026. Three finalists in each of two categories – emerging and established – will each receive an unrestricted award of €3,500. Up to ten shortlisted artists will be featured on the SYNO website through editorial formats and included in the SYNO Yearbook to be published at the end of 2026. The selection is made by an invited jury of curators, critics and art professionals. No application fee is required. Collaborative duos or collectives may apply with a joint submission. Results will be announced in October 2026.
