Appel à candidatures « Georgia Clay » pour des œuvres d'art en argile à la galerie Augusta & CO.
Greater Augusta Arts Council
À Propos de Cette Opportunité
“Georgia Clay” celebrates the rich tradition of ceramics in Augusta’s River Region, where Georgia’s abundant clay deposits have shaped the area’s history, industry, and creative legacy for generations. This open call invites CSRA‑based ceramic artists to showcase contemporary works that honor the versatility and beauty of clay while highlighting the talent of local makers. Designed as a holiday gift exhibition, all artwork must be priced at $200 or less, making original, handcrafted art accessible to shoppers throughout the gift‑giving season. Eligible works may be wall‑mounted (using a French cleat or wire) or free‑standing, provided they fit within a 12″ × 12″ footprint. Artists may submit up to four finished pieces in any clay‑based medium, including pottery, sculpture, jewelry, mosaics, or mixed media. Selected works will be displayed in the Augusta & Co. Gallery from October 1, 2026 to January 7, 2027, with a reception on November 6, 2027. Applications are submitted via the provided online form, and selected artists will be notified in the first week of September.
