Résidence d'artistes A.I.R. – Anderson Center

The Anderson Center at Tower View’s A.I.R. (Amplify · Invest · Revitalize) Artist Residency is a multidisciplinary program that supports practicing artists, writers, musicians, and performers. For the 2027 season, residencies run for two to four weeks during May, June, July, August, and October, with a preference for four‑week stays. Residents receive a private room in the historic Tower View residence, free studio space (15' × 26' for visual artists), access to specialized workspaces (darkroom, print studio, forge, pianos, rehearsal spaces), chef‑prepared meals, Wi‑Fi, and bicycles. A stipend of approximately $4,000 is provided, and each cohort culminates in a fully supported public exhibition. Artists are expected to engage with the local community through open studio hours, workshops, and outreach activities. The program is open to artists of all disciplines worldwide; prior residents must wait one year before re‑applying. Applications are submitted via Submittable and close on January 12, 2027 at 12 p.m. CST, with a $30 application fee. Selected artists are notified in February, with final decisions by early March. The residency emphasizes professional development, mentorship, and community impact, offering a supportive environment for artists to advance their practice.
