Appel à candidatures pour la résidence d'artiste ADKX, New York
Adirondack Experience, The Museum on Blue Mountain Lake (ADKX)
À Propos de Cette Opportunité

The Adirondack Experience (ADKX) invites visual artists to apply for its Artist‑in‑Residence program. Four artists are selected each year to work consecutively during the months of June, July, August and September on the museum’s 121‑acre campus in Blue Mountain Lake, New York. Residents receive on‑site housing at no cost, a private studio, and access to the museum’s Art Lab makerspace where they design participatory activities for visitors. The program provides a $5,000 stipend, up to $500 for travel expenses, and a $250 material allowance for public‑facing projects. Applicants must submit a one‑page letter, artist statement, biography, a portfolio of 8‑15 works (including at least five that have been publicly exhibited), and a proposal for an activity in the Art Lab. Non‑U.S. residents are responsible for securing their own visas. The open application period runs from 28 September to 11 December 2026, with the deadline on 11 December 2026. Selected artists will produce a work for potential acquisition by the museum.
