Résidence ACMI X Industry

The Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI) runs the ACMI X Industry Residency, a flexible programme for Melbourne‑based creative practitioners, artists and start‑ups working across film, television, videogames and visual art. Applicants can choose between a Part‑Time Residency (AU$160 per month + GST) that provides a temporary hot‑desk, 8 hours of meeting‑room hire per month, high‑speed Wi‑Fi, a locker and free access to resident‑only events, or a Full‑Time Residency (AU$400‑800 per month + GST depending on organisational type) that offers a permanent sit/stand desk, 28 hours of meeting‑room hire per month, Wi‑Fi, an under‑desk storage drawer and the same event and venue‑hire benefits. All residencies are open‑ended and allocated throughout the year according to capacity, with no fixed deadline – applications are accepted on a rolling basis via an online Typeform. Eligibility is limited to individuals, not‑for‑profit groups or commercial entities based in Melbourne. The programme provides workspace, equipment, networking opportunities and discounted venue hire, but does not include housing or travel support.
