AA2A
À Propos de Cette Opportunité
AA2A (Artists Access to Art Colleges) has opened applications for its 2026/27 residency cycle across 18 partner universities and colleges in England. The scheme is designed for practising visual artists, makers and designers who wish to experiment with new processes, equipment and studio environments. Selected residents receive a minimum of 100 hours of free access to specialist workshops, studios and technical machinery (including printmaking, ceramics, digital fabrication, 3D printing, laser cutting, photography, VR, sound and fine art) throughout the academic year. Residents work alongside students and technical staff, contributing to campus creative life and delivering student engagement activities. Additional benefits include discounted AXIS membership, promotion on AA2A’s publishing platforms, and eligibility to apply for financial support through the AA2A Artist Support Fund. Applications are free and artists may apply to up to two host institutions. Eligibility requires UK‑based practising artists with at least one year of professional practice post‑education, currently enrolled in full‑time formal education, and able to commute to the chosen host. Host‑specific deadlines run from 31 August to 16 September 2026. Applications are submitted via the AA2A portal, which provides access to individual host application packs. The residency runs for the 2026/27 academic year across England.
