BUILD YOUR REEL is a two‑day intensive workshop hosted by GALLIM in New York City on September 26‑27, 2026. Designed for dancers who want to create a professional, artistically compelling reel, the program combines GALLIM’s movement methodology with hands‑on filming, editing, and feedback. Participants will learn GALLIM repertory pieces choreographed by Andrea Miller, practice shooting and editing their own footage using iMovie and Premiere Pro, and receive personalized critique from GALLIM faculty. The workshop also offers access to professional cameras (Sony A7SIII, Sony FX6, Ronin RS3) and editing equipment, as well as a range of financial aid options including need‑based aid, an Emergent Artist Scholarship, and a Work‑Study Scholarship. Tuition is $200 for early‑bird registration before September 1 (use code EBIRD26) and $250 thereafter. The program is open to participants aged 16 and older; those under 16 require special approval. No housing or travel support is provided. Registration closes when capacity is reached; scholarship applications are reviewed on a rolling basis until September 7.
