European Ceramic Society
À Propos de Cette Opportunité
The European Ceramic Society (ECerS), with financial support from the JECS Trust, launches the 2027 International Ceramist Student Exchange Program. The programme awards a €1,200 grant to each of up to 30 selected European students (PhD candidates or post‑doctoral researchers) to enable participation in international ceramic events, notably the 51st International Conference and Expo on Advanced Ceramics and Composites (ICACC 2027) in Daytona Beach, USA (24‑29 January 2027), and the preceding IGNITE MSE gathering. Applicants must be registered as PhD students (or post‑docs) in a European laboratory belonging to a member national ceramic society and be members of that society (or have a supervising member). Nationals of the host country (USA) are excluded. The grant is paid 50 % before travel and the remainder after proof of attendance and presentation. Recipients must present an oral or poster contribution at the conference and submit at least one paper to the Open Ceramics journal. Applications are submitted by email to the ECerS secretariat, with a deadline of 19 October 2026 for the first call. Regular calls will be launched each October for future events.
