Appel à candidatures international « ACC NEXT » 2027 pour les artistes asiatiques émergents

The National Asian Culture Center (ACC) announces the 2027 ACC NEXT Emerging Asian Artists International Open Call, seeking bold, experimental works at the intersection of art and technology. Eligible media include interactive installations, generative video/image, kinetic/robotic art, immersive XR, and other tech‑based practices. Approximately ten individuals or teams will be selected to exhibit in ACC Creation Space 5 from 2 April to 22 August 2027 (tentative). Selected participants receive an artist fee of KRW 3,000,000 per work, an installation and materials budget up to KRW 2,000,000, travel support (international airfare for overseas residents and domestic high‑speed rail fare), and accommodation in the Asia Plex Studio. One artist or team will also be offered a place in the 2027 ACC CREATORS Residency after a pitch session. Applications are submitted online between 1 October and 25 October 2026 (deadline 23:59 KST). Required materials include an application form, technical rider, and a portfolio/CV PDF (max 50 MB). Eligibility requires Asian nationality, birth on or after 1 January 1987 (under 40 in 2026), and a documented exhibition record (solo show, museum exhibition, or ≥ 3 group shows). Non‑Korean applicants must be able to obtain a Korean visa. The selection is document‑based, with review in November 2026 and results announced 30 November 2026.
