À Propos de Cette Opportunité

The Archie Bray Foundation for the Ceramic Arts, located in Helena, Montana, offers a long‑term residency program for ceramic artists. The 2026–2027 residency invites artists to work on a 26‑acre historic brickyard, providing private studio space, subsidized housing, and access to a full range of kilns (gas, electric, wood, soda, salt). Residents receive a fellowship stipend of $7,500 per year to support their practice. The program is open to ceramic artists worldwide, including US and international residents. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis from October to March, with a deadline of October 1, 2026 for the 2026–2027 cohort. The residency lasts one year, with the option to apply for a second year. Applicants must submit a portfolio, CV, and statement of intent. The selection is based on artistic merit, quality of work, and how the residency will benefit the artist and community. The program fosters community, collaboration, and professional development. The residency also includes exhibition opportunities through the Foundation’s Exhibitions Program. The application process is free. The Foundation encourages artists to apply and offers a supportive environment for experimentation and growth.
