The Sandy Spring Museum’s 2026 Fine Arts & Crafts Holiday Gift Show is an annual marketplace event that showcases handmade work by regional artists and craftspeople. From November 27 through December 24, the museum’s galleries transform into a holiday shopping destination featuring ceramics, paintings, jewelry, textiles, woodworking, glass, mixed media, and other handcrafted pieces. The museum seeks artists whose work demonstrates quality craftsmanship, creativity, and originality, welcoming both established and emerging makers. Applications are accepted online until September 28, 2026, with notifications of acceptance sent on October 12. Selected artists receive exhibition space in the museum’s galleries and the opportunity to reach thousands of holiday shoppers. There is no application fee, and the show does not provide stipends, housing, or travel support. The event is part of the museum’s recurring holiday tradition, held annually each year.
