Appel à candidatures : Focal Point 2026

Sharjah Art Foundation invites UAE‑based artists, designers, artist‑led initiatives and collectives with an interest in independent and experimental publishing to apply for the ninth edition of Focal Point, the Foundation’s annual art book fair. The fair will take place at Bait Obaid Al Shamsi, Arts Square, Sharjah from 11 to 13 December 2026. Applicants must submit a proposal describing the printed materials they wish to display – such as artist books, zines, magazines, prints, stickers or posters – accompanied by images of the work. Submissions are to be sent to publications@sharjahart.org by 23:59 (GMT+4) on 10 November 2026. Selected participants will be offered exhibition space at the fair, the opportunity to sell their works, and the possibility to curate a table showcasing works from their community.
