Art Omi, an international arts organisation based in Ghent, New York, is opening applications for its 2027 residency programmes across five disciplines: Artists, Architecture, Dance, Music and Writers. The call is open to creative practitioners worldwide who have been professionally active for at least five years, with specific eligibility criteria for each discipline. Artists may work in visual arts, sound art, performance or social practice; architects must be licensed or hold an M.Arch and have five years of professional practice; dancers and choreographers should be professionals with an open project; musicians and composers may come from any genre. The residency takes place on Art Omi’s 120‑acre campus in the Hudson Valley, offering accommodation, meals, dedicated workspaces and a supportive community of peers. Applicants pay a USD 15 application fee; selected residents attend the residency at no cost apart from travel expenses. The 2027 residency dates are 27 May–14 June, 17 June–12 July, 22 July–9 August and 12 August–30 August, each lasting roughly 2.5 weeks. The application deadlines are 14 September 2026 for the Artists programme and 1 October 2026 for Architecture, Dance and Music. The programme is competitive, with selection by a jury. The call is recurring, with a new edition each year.
