El programa de artistas residentes en cerámica
The Pottery Atascadero
Acerca de Esta Oportunidad
The Pottery Artist in Residence program invites emerging and mid‑career ceramic artists to spend three months creating, exhibiting, and selling work at one of The Pottery’s three Central Coast studios (Atascadero, Grover Beach, Baywood). Residents receive a Level One membership, 24‑hour studio access, up to 10 pieces fired each month, free clay for a storefront window display, a shelf to sell their work (keeping 60% of sales), a 5% discount on materials, and the option to lead a paid workshop. The residency does not provide housing, travel support, or a stipend; artists must live within commuting distance or arrange their own lodging. Applications are reviewed after each deadline, with interviews for finalists. The next deadline is 1 February 2027 for the Spring session.
