Residencia Hacklab01

Hacklab01, located in the Autonomous Cultural Centre of Zagreb, runs the Hackn3t residency program, which blends online and physical workspaces for new media artists, coders, and tech creatives. The residency offers a single-room studio in the city center, reliable internet connectivity, and access to workshop tools and digital infrastructure such as a VPS server and BigBlueButton. Applicants are invited to submit a brief application via email (info@hacklab01.org) that includes their name, desired timeframe, requested fee, a short biography, a website or portfolio link, and a pitch describing the materials they plan to present. There is no fixed deadline; applications are accepted on a rolling basis. The program provides a grant of up to 300 EUR per stay, payable by invoice, with the exact amount negotiated based on the type and duration of the residency. The residency is open to artists working in new media, video/film, and sound/music, with no specific theme required. The program encourages diversity of formats and offers both online and in‑person activities, including performances, talks, workshops, and exhibitions.
