Acerca de Esta Oportunidad

O Castro Art Village, an abandoned rural settlement in the Ribeira Sacra region of Galicia, Spain, invites artists, writers, researchers and creative practitioners of any discipline to apply for its self‑funded Creative Residency. The residency is flexible in length, ranging from a minimum of two weeks up to two months (longer stays can be arranged on request). Residents live in a climate‑controlled geodesic dome with a private or shared option, have full access to a studio loft, communal kitchen, high‑speed internet and shared workspaces. Optional one‑on‑one mentorship with filmmaker Davoud Gerami is available, as well as informal community activities such as film screenings, workshops and shared meals. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis; there is no application fee. The residency is self‑funded, meaning artists cover their own travel, accommodation and living costs, but they receive the full infrastructure and community support of O Castro. The call is open to creators of all disciplines and nationalities.
